Sonic the Hedgehog's flying sidekick. Born on the same day Dr. Robotnik started his robot uprising, Miles was awkwardly born with two tails. No more than a few minutes later, Robotnik's robot forces rendered Miles an orphan. About 7 years later, he teamed up with Sonic the Hedgehog after fixing his biplane. The two quickly became friends, and even shared a teacher/student relationship. Miles suggested to Sonic he should try the spin-dash, and Sonic taught Miles to fly using his twin tails, thus earning him the nickname Tails.
