A Philips Compact Disc Interactive console. If you don't know the back-story, here's how it goes. Philips Electronics was working for Nintendo to produce a CD-based peripheral for the SNES, which never came into existence. I guess Nintendo saw the Sega CD and how bad it sucked. Anyway, Nintendo also tried hiring Sony on the same project, and that didn't work either, but what did come out of it was none other than the PlayStation. Philips, on the other hand, created their own console the CD-i, which mainly had a bunch of educational games, and a few action games, but probably most famously, Nintendo giving Philips permission to utilize some of Nintendo's franchises: Hotel Mario and the Zelda CD-i Trilogy (AKA the Unholy Triforce). Enjoy. By the way, my printer kinda ran out of ink, so the one in this picture is purple.
