The Nintendo Switch shouldn't need too much of an introduction. A hybrid console combining both handheld and the home console experience into one, it was a smash hit that saved Nintendo from near death back in the day, and is now almost one of the most sold console in history, just behind the PS2 and original DS now.

For the Joy-Con rails, cut the colored strip on the body's sides and slide the matching tabs on the rails through them, then glue them into place. The same logic also applies to the USB port inside the dock as well. Don't forget to cut the charging port hole out in the tablet, otherwise it can't dock. For the dock itself, it's a bit complicated, but I'll break it down as best as I can:

  1. Make the back insides first, then glue the ports in.
  2. Make the inside groove of the dock (where the charging port resides), get the charging port through the colored slits and glued into place, then glue it to the back/white side of the back insides.
  3. Slowly wrap the body piece around the assembly; glue the large colored end in first, then the right side (our left from the front perspective), then glue the bottom in through the tab and white back, and then the left (our right, again from the front facing perspective.) Wrap and glue the top part into place.

This design is what I'd call my magnum opus, I suppose. It's been in the works since 2017; I even posted the first version back onto the PCC Forums when they were still around. When I got a Switch of my own (the original was based off the product photos), I went to work redesigning it and making it as accurate as could be. Life came and went, I grew up, my focus was split elsewhere.. but about 2 years ago, I found the incomplete files and since then, I worked to polish them into something I could finally consider finished. I hope you all enjoy this!
